It’s Day 11 and we have been in the kitchen making something sweet to share!
Rice Krispies Peppermint Bark Trees
Ingredients
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 4 cups JET-PUFFED Miniature Marshmallows
- 6 cups Kellogg’s® Rice Krispies® cereal
- Peppermint oil
- melting dark chocolate
- melting white chocolate
- 1 cup finely crushed Candy Canes
- wax paper half circles
Follow the instructions for original Rice Krispies treats (click here) Add 1/2 teaspoon of peppermint oil to the mixture and mix well.
Roll the wax paper to create a cone and secure with tape. Fill the cones with the mixture.
Chill cones for an hour. Unwrap wax paper to reveal Krispies tree form.
Melt chocolate and drizzle on the trees.
Sprinkle the crushed peppermint on the trees.
